Hainted

A year ago today, I released Hainted.

Pretty sure I spent the entire month or so beforehand biting my nails and freaking out. What if people hated it? What if I couldn’t write gay paranormal romance after all? Sure I’d hired a fantastic editor who made the book twice as good, but ultimately it was my cover, my words, and my decisions.

Sheer. Terror.

One year and eight releases later, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude with how far we’ve come. I’m so lucky to have the most amazing readers and friends in the world. You are all so terrific, and I can’t say how grateful I am you’ve come on this journey with me! We voted Widdershins into a book of the month slot on the GoodReads M/M Romance group (something I never thought would happen!), we gave away several hundred free copies of Hainted to celebrate the downfall of DOMA and Prop 8, and we came very close to breaking into the top ten best selling GLBT novels on Amazon when Threshold came out.

But even more important, we talked on Facebook and Twitter, on GR and through email. We made friends and shared pictures and laughed. So many of you were with me online when I lost furbabies on Halloween and Easter, which meant so much to me and my husband.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking this journey with me. I can’t wait to see where we go in the next year!

Love,

Jordan

    • Thanks so much! Three novels, four novellas, and a short story…I’m pretty surprised myself, to be honest! 😀

  1. HOOOOOORAY! So incredibly proud of you, Jordan. You hooked me with HAINTED right off the bat and I knew then you are a force to be reckoned with. Congratulations, and much, much love and thanks to you and all your boys who have become such an important part of my life!

    • *HUGS* I owe it to your amazing editorial skills. You make me look good when I do dumb ass things like forget about the murder victim midway though the book. 😉

  2. Happy Anniversary, Jordan! I haven’t read ‘Hainted’ yet. I’ll have to remedy that soon. Thank you for sharing your talent with me. I plan on continuing the journey along with you for the duration.
