Haint-working runs in Dan Miller’s blood. Not everyone can help the restless dead cross over, especially when the haunting threatens the Living. But the death of his parents six years ago forced Dan to give up his calling in exchange for raising his brother and sister, all the while struggling to keep their rural NC farm afloat.

So when the flamboyantly goth Leif Helsvin shows up on Dan’s doorstep looking for help with an evil necromancer, Dan’s first instinct is to turn him down. With two teenagers to look after, he’s already got all the trouble he can handle. Besides, the sexy Leif is too much of a temptation, and Dan is firmly in the closet.

Reviews for Hainted:

“Hainted has a love story between Leif and Dan, but more than that, it has a story of redemption and trust woven in with a very frightening horror story…Hainted is bloody, messy, and very tightly written. It has enough elements of all three genres to keep readers interested all the way to the epic end of the book”. – Charlayne, TE Garden of Book Bloggers

“… a wonderfully written novel filled with intrigue, suspense and romance.” – Zafira, The Jeep Diva

“…fantastic storytelling, captivating characters, and a unique refreshing take on the typical paranormal romance.” – Between the Bind

“… wonderfully written and scary as hell.” – Waiting on Sunday to Drown

“I didn’t want to put this book down at all!” – The Bookshelf

“Jordan L. Hawk will have you fall in love with the characters.” – FranJessca, Book Lovin’ Mamas
