After spending years at the whims of online retailers like Amazon, I'm jumping head-first into having my own storefront! (Before anyone asks, yes, all books will still be available at Amazon, B&N, and everywhere else they're currently sold.)
There are a couple of reasons for this:
1. More of the money goes to the author (that is, me). Though I still have to pay fees and the like, it's less than the 30%-75% retailers keep for themselves for the privilege of allowing me to sell books on their sites.
2. I'm working with a book printing company that will allow me to ship paperbacks and hardcovers pretty much anywhere in the world, unlike Amazon. So more readers will be able to get the books they want, rather than be at mercy of the whims of Amazon or any other conglomerate.
In short, my site will continue to be the place to come to get news about my writing or to check out my books, only now if you want, you'll be able to support me in a more direct fashion.
So please take a look around and be sure to use coupon GRAND20 at checkout to get 20% off your entire order!
